Rose Afzal-asr, DMD, MS

Associate Dentist

Dr. Rose Afzal-Asr, DMD, MS, is a dedicated dentist who seamlessly builds personal connections with patients while utilizing the creative and detailed aspects of dentistry to address their dental needs. She has a passion for helping individuals achieve both a healthy and beautiful smile. Dr. Rose is passionate about general dentistry, as it allows for a comprehensive approach to patient care. Dr. Rose’s philosophy centers on open communication, patient education, and preventive care, ensuring that each patient understands their needs and how to maintain optimal oral health.

With a background in both clinical and research settings, Dr. Rose graduated from the Dental College of Georgia, earning a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. Prior to that, Dr. Rose earned a Master of Science (MS) degree from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities, graduating at the top of her class and focusing on dental research with a particular emphasis on the role the immune response plays in periodontal disease.

In addition to her professional expertise, Dr. Rose brings a global perspective to the practice. Fluent in multiple languages, Dr. Rose enjoys experiencing diverse cultures and incorporating these experiences into patient interactions.

Dr. Rose is also passionate about giving back to her community and building meaningful, lasting relationships with those she serves. She believes dentistry is not only about improving oral health, but also about fostering trust, supporting community well-being, and making a positive impact in people’s lives. She values the opportunity to care for individuals and families throughout every stage of life and takes pride in being a trusted resource for her patient.

Outside of work, Dr. Rose is an avid oil painter, gardener, and cherishes spending quality time with family and friends.
